Privacy policy

Linkwatch is run by Satvik. This page says what we collect and why. Questions go to futureiitianisme@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Your email address and timezone.
• Your password, only as a one-way hash. We can't read it.
• The links you save, and your notes, tags, collections and statuses.
• Any feedback you send us.
• The dates you confirm, edit or add, and your reminder settings.
• Your Telegram chat ID, only if you connect Telegram.
• Technical logs such as request times and errors.
• Anonymous page view statistics, such as which pages are visited, and from what country and device type.
• Your IP address, held briefly in memory to limit abuse. We don't store it, though your hosting provider may keep its own logs.

What we do with it

We use it to read the pages you save, find their dates, watch them for changes, and send your reminders. We don't sell your data, and we don't show ads inside the product.

Shared pages

If two people save the same public page, we keep one copy of it. Your notes, tags, decisions, reminders and any dates you add yourself stay private to you.

Who else handles it

• Vercel, which runs our servers and provides our page view statistics.
• The provider that hosts our database.
• Resend, which delivers our email, so it receives your address and each email's contents.
• Telegram, if you connect it.
• An AI provider, if AI reading is switched on. It receives sentences from public pages, not your account details.

Cookies

We use one cookie to keep you logged in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep your data until you delete your account. Copies of public pages you saved may be kept for other people watching them; they contain nothing about you. Any database backups are deleted on our database provider's schedule.

Your choices

• Delete your account at any time in Settings. That removes your private data straight away.
• Turn off emails in Settings, or use the link in any reminder.
• Ask for a copy or correction of your data at futureiitianisme@gmail.com.

Changes

If we make a significant change to this policy, we'll tell you by email.
